The Best Acne Cleanser For You Is Right Here!

Wondering which acne cleanser is right for you? Or maybe you're wondering how to control oily skin? The answer could be in your cleansing agent.

It's a good idea to first, start out knowing the active ingredient in your acne products.

Some types of acne respond better to one acne cleanser and it's active ingredient , when compared to another. Therefore, your choice of a cleansing agent depends on which types of acne you have.

So, which one is right for you? Take some time, look around and decide for yourself. You will see cleansers that contain Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid.

Cleansers containing Benzoyl Peroxide:

• You’ll find the active ingredient of Benzoyl Peroxide in , Proactiv Renewing Cleanser which is an over the counter (OTC) product that contains 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide.

• Next we have Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Cleanser. This too is an over the counter (OTC) product and contains 10.0% Benzoyl Peroxide.

Cleansers containing Salicylic Acid:

Murad has their Clarifying Cleanser. It is an over the counter (OTC) product and contains 1.5% Salicylic Acid. This has a refreshing menthol feel to it.

Looking for a great Acne Body Wash?

Murad has their Acne Body Wash . This Body Wash contains 1.0% Salicylic Acid.

• Clean and Clear has Continuous Control Acne Wash. This product lathers into a foam and is an over the counter (OTC) product. It contains 2% Salicylic Acid.

Cleansers containing Glycolic Acid:

• For my favorite we have Reviva Labs Glycolic Acid Facial Cleanser.

This is not advertised for acne, but contains 2% Glycolic Acid.

I use this product and like the cool silky feel to it and the fact that I see results. This too is an over the counter (OTC) product.

• Next, there’s MD Formulations Facial Cleansing Gel (oily and very oily skin types). It contains 12% Glycolic Compound and is an over the counter (OTC) product.

• There's also Aqua Glycolic Cleanser, it too is an over the counter(OTC) product.

And don't forget, your cleanser should:

• Contain a good bacteria fighting agent
• Gently exfoliate
•The best acne cleanser will help prevent oily skin!

As always, PROTECT your skin with moisturizer that contains sunblock!

Tip: When washing your face, gently (use only your finger tips) glide across your face with your acne cleanser. Do not rub, doing so may irritate your skin. Move in a circular motion, then rinse, pat dry and wait at least 10 minutes to apply your acne toner. Follow product recommendation for further instructions.
