Carrots are a great source of antioxidants. This popular vegetable contains the richest source of pro-vitamin A.

Just check out all the nutrients mentioned earlier. All of those vitamins and nutrients contribute to a strong immune system. And you know, a strong immune system allows your body to fight and recover from acne.

The possibilities are endless. Carrots can pretty much be eaten anytime, throughout the day.
Carrots, like most vegetables are (in my opinion) best consumed raw. By eating your veggies raw, you are receiving the maximum amount of nutrients. Cooking your vegetables, diminish the nutritional value in your fruits and veggies.

I find organic baby carrots great for this. I pack my daughter’s lunch bag with a few baby carrots and a side container of ranch dressing, for dipping.

This is my favorite way of reaping the benefits of carrots for acne.
I like to juice 6-8 large organic carrots and then add a couple of apples and sometimes 2-3 Kale leaves.
