I've experienced true results from eating and drinking certain foods.
If you are serious about controlling your acne the natural way, through diet...then I highly recommend investing in a juicer. Juicing for acne will give you amazing results!
The first time I began to link my improved diet to clearer skin, was when I received a Juiceman Juicer, as a gift.
My intentions at that time was to get some added vitamins and nutrients in my diet and try to lose a few pounds. Clearer skin was not a part of my agenda, at that time.
With-in days I noticed a significant improvement in my skin and so did my friends and family. For the first time, my skin had a natural sun kissed glow (juicing carrots played a big role in this).
I then began to take notice in the foods I was juicing on a regular basis. Check out my list of must-haves...
Fruits and Veggies that played a big part in my Clear Skin Diet
As simple as it may seem and I’m sure you’ve heard it before-“drink more water”, for a clearer complexion.
Did you know our bodies contain 70% water? Yep, I think that is a lot! Water is so vital to our overall health. Water flushes out toxins which contribute to acne.

Rooibos Tea-the tea for acne
My most recent find is Rooibos tea. This tea is amazing for soaking up sebum (oil). You will be amazed by the results!
• Salmon (wild)
Salmon is not only delicious (my favorite fish), but is packed with Omega 3 oil. This is the good oil that is a powerful ingredient responsible for clear healthy skin.
Last but not least…
• Eat and Juice lots of Fruits and Veggies!
Juicing for better skin is easy, try to focus on the fruits and vegetables listed earlier. These foods contain a significant amount of powerful antioxidants and boost the immune system.
Foods to avoid:
• Peanuts- some peanuts contain hormones that trigger acne
• Cow’s milk- the reason for this is obvious “Hormones”! Cow’s milk contains recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH), among many other negative hormones.
Try to avoid over processed foods, foods which contain additives and excess hormones.
I’ve written a brief list of foods that I’ve personally experienced that have worsened my acne. Remember, everyone is different so it may be a good idea to keep a food journal.
Remember, we’re all unique, learn which foods help or hurt your battle with acne.
