Do not eat or drink dairy products with this oral acne medication, doing so may interfere with the absorption of this medication.

It is also important to tell your Dermatologist if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breast-feeding.

Doxycycline may also reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives, so it is important to discuss with your doctor an alternative form of birth control during your Doxycyline treatment.




While taking this oral acne medication, your skin may become sensitive to the sun’s rays. During your treatment, try to limit your exposure to the sun. When going outside, be sure to use a good moisturizer with a SPF of 15 or higher.
