MD Formulations Facial Cleansing Gel...ideal for acne prone skin
Please keep in mind, this acne cleansing gel contains 12% glycolic acid compound, it's not for the "first-timer" of glycolic acid products. If this will be your first experience with glycolic acid products, you'd be safer starting out with a glycolic acid cleanser with a lower dosage of 5% or less. I remember using MD Formulations Facial Cleansing Gel a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. I found it a bit pricey though, at $32.00 for 8.3oz. bottle. However, it is a nice size bottle which lasted me 6-8 weeks. I purchased the bottle at Ulta. You can conveniently obtain this acne cleanser on-line as well. Because this acne cleanser contains glycolic acid, it's great for all types of acne, including severe cystic and nodule acne. It's just as effective on mild acne like whiteheads, blackheads, papules and pustules. When it comes to treating acne, MD Formulations Facial Cleansing Gel is a good choice. Made ideally for people with oily and very oily skin. This foaming gel cleanser deep cleans oily skin, effectively washes away excess oils, makeup and residue. I started out using this product 2 times per day. Once in the morning and again before bed. If you find this product too strong, I would then cut back to 1 time per day (probably at bed time). Directions for use of this product: Lather a liberal amount of gel in hands. Massage into damp skin. Avoid eyes. Mild tingling is normal and temporary. Rinse completely with water. Pat dry.
