Which Makeup Should I Use For My Acne?

Hi Loretta,

I like your site it has alot of good acne information and is easy to use.

I would like to know what brand of makeup should I use for my mild to moderate type of acne? I would not say i breakout with pimples that much but when i do i do not want to irritate my skin by putting on makeup.

Best Makeup For Acne

Hi Jill,

First off, thank you for your entry on which makeup is best for acne.

I personally have A LOT of experience with Bare Mineral Makeup. People tell me my makeup looks natural. I also use very little to cover my face, so a little goes a long way. I've never broken out while using it. My skin also tends to feel LESS oily when I use this makeup.

The only personal flaw I sometimes get with this makeup, is in the summer months I get darker (due to sun exposure) and at times it is harder to get my "perfect" color match.

But overall, my skin is healthiest when using this mineral makeup.
